  1. Very nice! I really like that color with the white thread. Dig the Punisher skull too.
  2. Yeah when i was watching videos of it I noticed that it might be tricky to move your work piece with one hand and pull the lever with the other. When you say "throat", Im guessing thats the distance between the frame of the machine and where the needle is?
  3. That's looks cool. I have to take breaks from my projects all the time for whatever reasons. I think it helps sometimes to get up and get away from it for a bit. I did a belt for my wife with a repeating floral pattern that ran the whole length, and I definately had to take breaks here and there. I don't think it hurts a thing. I was just looking at the Tippmann last night online, but I'm just not ready to get a machine yet.
  4. Very Nice! Did you use Fiebings oil dye or their alchohol based dye?
  5. garypl, that is the natural color of the leather with eco flo super sheen used as a resist for the antique gel.
  6. Yes that way seems to work well. I actually learned how to do these by watching Chiefs videos. They were a big help. The Black River Laser templates are great. Thanks guys.
  7. Here's the latest rifle sling I finished this evening for a buddy of mine. I used Eco flo super sheen for the resist and Eco Flo med. brown antique gel over that. Buffed it good and topped it off with a couple of good coats of Aussie using a hair dryer to get it to penetrate better, then I buffed it again. The buck came from an old hunting book cover that was my grandfathers.
