  1. This machine has been sold and is no longer available. Thanks to all who expressed interest.
  2. Again - will need full address to quote.
  3. I'll need a full address to quote shipping. Thank you.
  4. Liquidating some of my leather tools on this site. This is a Weaver 6 inch economy skiver with less than two hours of use. Virtually brand new. Currently priced at $390 on Weaver's site - man has the price gone up since I purchased this unit! Selling for $120 plus freight to get it to you unless you can pick up in NE Ohio, just south of Cleveland. The current listing of this product on Weaver's site can be seen here: https://www.weaverleathersupply.com/products/economy-heritage-leather-skiver?_pos=1&_sid=40de46076&_ss=r The catalog numbers of the piece listed on that link and the one I have are identical - same unit. Stainless steel hold down bar for level skives. Handle adjustment for quick and easy lap skiving. Features a 6" precision ground blade. I also have listed on Leatherworker a Mighty Wonder 4 ton clicker, Weaver's Easy Edge bevel machine and I will be adding more tools as time permits.
  5. I'm liquidating my leather tools and I have a virtually unused Weaver Easy Edge that I purchased about 5 years ago. Being completely honest and truthful, I probably ran under 20 feet of leather straps through this machine. I had a dream of producing leather goods in my tack shop but the weight of just running the business quickly took over and I never saw my dream come true. This machine is truly in new condition, the blades are nearly untouched. Weaver currently sells this unit for $1300. Convenient machine gives you the ability to edge all four edges of your strap at once for time savings and reduced labor costs. With 12 cutting blades (6 on each side), the blades can be rotated and switched to the opposite side so you don't need to re-sharpen as frequently. Bottom blades can be dropped down if you want to edge the top two edges only. Asking $750 plus freight to get it to you. Sips from NE Ohio, Cleveland area. If nearby you can of course pick it up locally too. If you've ever drooled at the thought of having one of these, here's your opportunity. I am steadily listing more products including a Mighty Wonder 4 ton clicker and a Weaver skiver. More to come.
  6. Hey everyone. this clicker is still available and I'm lowering the price on it to $900. It's a heavy beast so unless you can hire a company to come to me and crate it up and ship it, you'll have to pick it up in NE Ohio, just south of Cleveland.
  7. I have a nearly unused Mighty Wonder for sale. Purchased it about 5 years ago and the leather manufacturing in my business just never took off, so I'm liquidating some things. You can see from the original clicker board it was used pretty minimally. Need to unload it. Pick up only - located in NE Ohio, Cleveland/Akron area. Asking $1300 OBO. Currently unavailable from Weaver and listed for $1850.
  8. I am thinking about going. Never been to that event before but they're about an hour's drive south of me. I've had my eye on their manual strap cutter for about a year now and if they have a deal on it I might be able to shell out for it. I'm wholesale with them and they had a deal in the last few weeks of last year for 10% off wholesale but I did not have the cash at that time.
  9. I've been trying so hard to figure this out and I had an idea like this but was not inspired to try it. You gave me the inspiration. Thank you.
  10. I love this post! I just started a tack and western shop with my wife and daughter and I am in the very beginning stage of leather craft to make basic strap goods - latigos, billets, spur straps, key chain fobs, and so on - nothing heavy. Weaver is about 50 minutes south of me so I've been going there to pick up some materials and trying to figure out sewing, stamping and so on. It is hard as I have arthritis in nearly all of my body and my hands require me to take a break every 10 minutes to relax my pain-ridden hands but I am hoping this will strengthen my hands and it will get easier. I love this craft and what it entails, but it is a challenge. But I am a firm believer that everyone needs a passion and right now this is mine - I just have to make something that I think is worthy to offer to the public. This is yet to happen but I am early into this and I have a lot of hope and determination. this is a very inspiring site and I am on it nearly every day just looking and reading. Wonderful. Cheers, Mike
