  1. Here are some pictures.
  2. I would let you have it for $950 shipped. Ups shipping will be well over $100. looks like usps shipping to you would be about $140
  3. I have a used Tippmann Boss I would like to sell. It works fine but is used and I am the second owner so it is being sold "as is" I have two pressor feet, the edge guide, and three spools of thread that will go with it. $900 shipped to anywhere in the US I will try to get some pictures up in the next day or two.
  4. That's ..ah .. well... PINK. Well done.... I think ? All kidding aside, they look nice!
  5. You're right, I only got into Kydex because the market demand is so high. There is nothing like leather.
  6. Hot pink? Sounds to me like you should think about some Kydex. (I know, dirty word.)
  7. You're right. I would normally do that too, guess I just had a brain fart that day. Oh well, I have one I did for myself in stingray that I made the same way just because stitching stingray is such a pain in the but. It has held up fine. This wasn't for a customer, it's for my wife so if it comes apart I guess she can just make me fix it! Darn women. Thanks!
  8. What type of glue are you using to bond the shark to the cow hide? Try barge cement also try cleaning it with alcohol before you glue it. When well bonded no amount of tight stitching should pull it from the edge. As for burnishing, I haven't used any shark, but with other exotics something that has worked for me was burnishing, then sanding with fine sand paper like 400 grit or something then repeat until you have an edge you are happy with. Looks good by the way, that caiman taser holster is SICK! What weight would you say the caiman skin is?
  9. Not ALL hybrid holsters. I make them like this. I don't like hardware
  10. It is 7 oz Herman Oak. I use barge cement. I glued it, stitched it, cased it, and filled it full of lead. In that order
  11. Yeah they are weapons here in Iowa, and you must have a permit to carry weapons to carry one. I like that Iowa issues a permit to carry weapons rather than a pistol permit or some other such. It also allows us to carry knives that would otherwise be illegal such as blades over 3 inches or autos.
  12. So I was talking to some friends about the holster business, and the subject came up of what to do with all the scrap leather I produce. Well, there is a lot of it and for the most part it just sits in a pile in my shop. Well, one of my friends said I should make key fobs. At first I didn't think much of the idea, but then I thought of a way I could make a key fob that fit right in with the rest of the stuff I do. So here it is. This "key fob" is about 2x3 inches and is filled with 4.5 oz of #9 lead shot. I gave myself a few test thwaps with it and I have no doubt you could cause some serious damage with this thing. I welcome any thoughts anyone might want to share.
  13. I guess we'll see! When I use rattle snake, I remove the scales. The skin is very thin but as far as I can tell quite tough.
  14. As a holster maker, most of my personal gear is prototypes or screw ups. I was working on pattern for a CZ75 and had some snake skin lying around. So, I figured what the hell and pimped my prototype. I think it turned out pretty good.
  15. I like 6/7 although I found that some suppliers 6/7 is thinner than others.
  16. No, I did it with my BOSS. I normally charge $60 for a belt, but he is a friend so I did the set for $100. Thanks by the way
  17. No reason, it just turned out that way. Customer was happy so I am as well. On the other hand, I think I will alter the pattern if I make another one for that gun.
