  1. Matt S, my model is a Juki 563 and not 563L as I mentioned in my post. Can someone let me know where I can purchase the backlash spring for the bobbin of the Juki 563? Benny.
  2. Thank you all for your help. First, I did not know the bobbin must spin anti-clockwise and I do not have a spring under the bobbin. It may well be the solution. Where can I buy the spring for under the bobbin? Benny.

  4. Can someone please help me with a problem I have with my Juki 563L. I am not able to get the sewing thread under the tension spring of the bobbin. There is no way doing from the top so there must be some other way. Thank you, Benny.
  5. Brandyb, did it help to lower the foot lift as I have the same problem?
  6. Thank you, Constabulary I will try and put into pictures.
  7. Can someone please help me solve a problem with the knee lifter lifting lever on a Juki Lu563? I am not able to lift the presser foot with the knee lifter as the stopper at the bottom of the connecting rod with spring makes contact with the machine after about 4 mm. of travel. If I pull up the knee lifter lifting lever by hand it works perfectly but I cannot do this with the knee lifter. Thanks in advance. Benny.
  8. Thank you, Bob. I will try what you suggest. Benny.
  9. Hi Floyd, I am new to restoring sewing machines and after doing my best to repair a Juki LU 563 I found that once I had put everything together, the macine was feeding backwards. Acording to the the instructions from the U.S navy instruction book, the problem lies with the pressure-lifting eccentric which needs to be correctly timed. I do not know what the part called ''pressure-lifting eccentric'' looks like. Can you help? Thanks, Benny.
  10. Can somebody please tell me where I find the pressure-lifting eccentric on a Juki Lu 563 and what does it look like. Thanks.
  11. Thank you everybody. I still need to learn how to use this forum for best results. Where are the instructions?
  12. leecopp, how did you solve the problem with the machine sewing backwards? I have the same problem.
  13. Thank you all. Uwe Grosse has helped me solve the problem with The Juki LU 563 but after fixing the main problem the machine sews backwards. Can anyone help?
  14. Can you help with a problem I have with a Juki LU 563? The clutch does not re-engage the main shaft after resetting the clutch ( I cannot sew). I have tried pressing the right button while turning the belt drive wheel, in the opposite direction ( away from the sewer) according to the instruction manual. The wheel seems to be locked when pressing the button and does not correct the problem. In addition the the stitch length mechanism disengages the clutch each time I try to change the stitch length. Thank you in advance.
