  1. Howdy, good luck with saddles in the future. Look forward to your pics.
  2. I work part-time on a ranch/feedyard and part-time saddlemaker. I used to be a full-time saddler but after we moved out here to Montana I took some part-time work. I am very close to going back to full time again which will be great. I still love the horses and cows, but when you find something which feels so fullfilling such as leatherwork (for me anyway) I find myself thinking of it all day long. As does everyone on this site I'm sure.

  4. those are very nice, good tooling.
  5. Beautiful saddle, always admired your work. I saw a barrel racer you made some time ago, my mother is also a barrel racer and being her son I am constantly building something new for her tack room. She will be recieving a new saddle for her birthday in feb. I will post pics soon. So please critique it for me.
  6. Hello all! Just wanted to say what a great site and I am glad to be a member. There is so much info and great people I will be checking often. My name is Justin Davies and I live in Three Forks, MT. I was bit by the leather bug in 1998 and in 2000 started building saddles. The pic is my latest. I work part-time on a ranch/feedlot and part-time saddlemaker. My wife is an equine photographer and computer guru. (she pretty much has to help with these "new fangled computers") Anyway hope all had a great christmas and new year. (I moved this from member gallery to saddle gallery as I hoped to get some critique. There seems to be alot of good ideas to gain from everyone, and as I'm fairly new to saddle building any comments are appreciated.)
  7. yes I did. It was for a the CO Hall of Fame show this past year but the show was cancelled.
