  1. If you want to sell parts, the upper bevel gear cover in particular I would be very interested.
  2. I have noticed some of these vintage pfaff 145 and 545 have two springs on top for loading the foot tension while others only have one spring. Is their a set number of springs that are standard?
  3. Thanks for all this information about the 545. Mine is minus the "P" and has no vertical movement but I didn't even notice until recently. I've owned the machine for nearly 15 years and used it to sew just about everything from jeans to heavy leather. I've gotten quite an education from this post.
  4. The you Uwe, I should have called it a feed dog not a lower foot. I do enjoy this machine and have used it for over 10 years not even noticing the feed dog had no vertical movement. I'll keep using it and it will keep producing nice stitches for me I'm sure.
  5. Hello, I have a question regarding a pfaff 545 H3 that I have, I've notice that on the 1245 the lower foot raises and lowers as it goes back and forth and my 545 H3 doesn't. I checked and there is no mechanism to mechanically do this so I'm assuming this is normal for my Model? I'm wondering however if there are accessory parts I could purchase to upgrade it?
