  1. Abbey sell white bridle butts never used it myself not a fan of white bridles.
  2. As far as the finish goes, I think just an oily/waxy water-resistant finish that's still flexible is preferable to a hard acrylic finish that might crack when creased. The first one is made with some Crazy Crow blacksmith side leather; the second is just light/midweight veg-tan with oil, Sno Seal and conditioner.
  3. It seems like it would take some airbrush/dye blending.
  4. Try searching on escutcheon pins. You'd need to turn the tips flat against an anvil.
  5. If you told us what you're making you may get a better answer.
  6. I'm not a tack guy but if I'm sewing a keeper on a belt I use an awl .
  7. Switch to Pro Oil dye and never look back.
