Hello everyone, I'm trying to get a replacement for the leather necklace I've been wearing for over 15 years, or roughly half my life. You can see the wear and tear, I'm looking for something similar but more durable. This necklace means a lot to me and I feel naked without it. What it looked like new: I saw this on etsy and it's extremely close to what I want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1690863787/the-warriors-collarnecklace-with-6mm Issues and other observations: 1. He only does braided leather. I do not want braided because I'm worried it'll get gunky in the braids, especially since I work outdoors. I almost never take the necklace off and yes, I shower with it. I've even gone into the ocean with it. I haven't had problems with water while wearing mine, and I've been wearing it a very long time. 2. The designs on the metal connecting bits that he has available don't quite appeal to me (besides the one I linked all the others are various animal heads) but it's the closet I've found to what I'm looking for short of just ordering a direct replacement, which I'm not keen on. 3. I do really like that it eliminates the need for the lobster claw clasp in the back. Seems like it'll be more secure than the flimsy ring I have now too. I'm always very worried I'm going to lose part or all of my necklace. Email: https://pastelink.net/y5icv1im I also have discord if that works better but you have to email me to get my username. Fair warning I might take up to a week to respond. I mentioned I work outdoors, and I'm often sent to remote places for about 8 days at a time. I check for messages to this address when I'm home. Thanks for your consideration!

Greetings Leatherworker community! I am a small business owner of a growing brand called "Bandits Salvaged Goods". We create leather dog leashes, collars, harnesses -- things of this nature. I am looking to hire someone part-time or per-project to help with our manufacturing / hand-crafting of our products. Up until this point, almost all of the products that have been produced I have made by hand. The business is growing, and I could really use an extra hand, or someone with experience that I can trust to bring new products and pieces together, and help produce leather goods for the future. If you're interested, or know someone that may be a good fit, please PM me, or reply here! Thanks so much, and looking forward to hearing back. Kindly, -Rob Creative Director, Founder Bandits Salvaged Goods

Hi all, I run www.etwood.co.uk and am looking for an extra pair of hands to do some ad hoc leather strap production for my company. We will be launching a new line of all-leather straps and it would be great to have someone external take over production duties. You will be producing small batches of 50-100 units every couple of months initially, with the intention of increasing this as we get on. Very simple straps: https://toneparty.co/collections/guitar-straps/products/brown-3-4-guitar-strap https://toneparty.co/products/honey-3-guitar-strap-1 No stitching needed, no edge paint, just the ability to cut the shapes and put them together. I'm London based so ideally you'd be local but this is not absolutely essential. Any takers? I'd prefer to pay per hour and keep things in and around the £15 mark. Best, Adam

If you have ideas or variations we are open to them. Requirements: Full or Top Grain Leather Semi-Aniline? Thick stitching (pref. nylon thread) Very Good quality Please tell me why you are a good fit for this project? This would be a contract arrangement. Also how much would you charge per wallet?
