KWIKPRINT Model 55, Hot Foil Leather Stamping Machine, Excellent Working Condition - meticulously stored and cared for. A regrettable sale, however, between work + young kids, I don't have time to use the machine like it deserves. Its had minimal use and is in near perfect condition. Included with the machine, are all parts and accessories as shown in the pictures, including step down transformer, basic leather crafting tools + spare foil and some leather off-cuts. Has original instruction manual. Photos show the indicator light for heating in progress and the temperature gauge from 0°F to 200°F. *** A 104 piece custom made font set can be sold individually, however, I'd prefer to sell as a package. The font set is brass in York Font 24pt. I had this custom made in the UK and cost over $1,000 *** I will sell as a package for $3,199 which is excellent value as I'm in the process of moving house and would like a quick sale, therefore, price accordingly. I'm also willing to throw in the workbench at no additional cost (for local pickup only). Dimensions of the machine are 52cm x 52cm x 60cm. Weight approx. 20-25kgs. Those who have a passion for leather work will know how rare these machines are to come by in Australia. Pick up from Broadview, SA. Prefer to sell locally, however, will ship interstate or overseas at the purchaser's expense. Feel free to message me if you require any further information.

Hello, Just got a heat embosser and have been experimenting with different types of leathers and heat temps. I went a bit to hot and the heat plate just absorbed the aluminum foil paper and now I have all the residue left on the inner plate. Any idea how to remove this without sanding or using much abrasives? thanks for the help! Frank

Hi. I am looking for tips on what tool to buy when it comes to making Hot stamps in leather with foil. I have an embosser already that i can heat stamp with, but i use it mostly for cold pressing in just damp leather, so no heat used. Mainly since it´s about 100 + years old and weighs in at around 90 KG´s. I want to get a more portable solution, one that i can fixate letters and numbers in as i see fit, and preferably one that i can bring with me on markets and fares. The pictures i add are representations on my wishes, but part from that i have a few needs on a list. 1: No cheap knockoff version mainly for hobby or " fun trials " 2: Adjustable temperature 3: Reliable brand 4: Reasonable pricing 5: IMPORTANT - Fully compatible to stamp in vegetable tanned leather So in short, no dollar store bargain, but nothing made from admantium and diamonds either. A solid brand that hold and works, and that can take a number of sizes in adjustable stamps.

This is not my machine but I thought that I would post it on here since I rarely see these listed outside of ebay. It's listed on Chicago's Craigslist for a steal. https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/tls/d/kwikprint-model-64-hot/6447960806.html

Hi there, has anyone used either the Howard M150 or the M45 on leather? I had some brass types made that I want to use to stamp some gold foil onto veg tan leather. After doing some research online (this forum is awesome truly), I found this guide to be very informative. I however cannot tell Howard's M150 apart from the M45 aside from that the M150 has a foil feed. Insights are much appreciated as always a side question, if i don't heat up those stamps, is it as good as a regular arbor press or clicker (is this just a flat press instead of a post press?), or will those hot stamp systems won't have enough force to leave a good embossing? another side question...i read about die-cutting, seems like it will increase yield quite a bit if I choose to start selling on Etsy etc. where do I get dies made and I'd have to use a clicker then? Thanks a million and happy weekend!

Stumbled upon an interesting DIY blog post on leather hot stamping using an iron and thought some of you will like to try it out at home too! http://minkudesign.c...011/09/04/1682/ If you want more control on the temperature and final degree of darkness, we provide a heat embosser with temperature control! https://www.etsy.com...-heat-embosser?
