Its like Christmas time for me today!. I got my hands on this fine lady!. I paid 950$ with a table, but discarded the table, bc Im building a new one!
also, I have a lot of cleaning and re oiling ahead. Hope I can put her back together ok; D

Im new to sewing machines, but always liked restoring older machines. Anyone got an idea about her age btw?

Woehlk, that's a fine lady indeed. Just stopping to say congrats!!! I like everything about her. The old needle envelopes are cool with the vintage Pfaff logo! Can you find a serial number anywhere?

got the feeling there were some non original parts. The plate on the cylinder arm is badly made. Also some screws that look iffy. Any other things?

So, im taking all the little bobs of, and cleaning them. Im doing one section at time, so I dont mess up :P Good way to get to know the machine also!.

im putting all the small screws in my ultrasonic cleaner. it works wonders! Any one knows how to clean the gears inside picture 2? get figure out how to get inside. n

Also, I know its blasphemy to some, but I really want it painted some day, but my worst fear, is never getting the timing fixed again, so take it 100% apart is out of the question,.
