chrisash Report post Posted June 2, 2022 looks like a Consew 563 which is a cone of the singer 111w range, a nice leather machine
hbound201 Report post Posted June 2, 2022 Thanks. Know of any manuals for this machine? I suspect it is going to need some TLC at least before its ready for use. My uncle repaired these as a hobby so I suspect it will need some work, also a motor and stand.
SARK9 Report post Posted June 2, 2022 (edited) Looks like a very early Consew 226, or one that has possibly had the handwheel replaced with a Singer model. -DC Edited June 2, 2022 by SARK9

327fed Report post Posted June 3, 2022 (edited) Looks about like my 225 and it stitches right on. Where are you located? Edited June 3, 2022 by 327fed
Handstitched Report post Posted June 3, 2022 Looks identical to my Seiko STW 28 B ,but a single needle, and same size fly wheel , ...and reverse I wouldn't mind that machine myself. You can't get piping feet for the twin needle machine. Good find that. HS

I'm located in SW Virginia about halfway in between Roanoke and Blacksburg. I mostly do knife making but I've wanted to get into sheaths and some other leather goods so this worked out. My uncle passed away a few years ago and he followed my knife making and wanted me to have some of his items to use them.

Until it was gifted to me I was considering calling you guys about one of the cowboy sewing machines but that was going to be next year when I'm settled into the new house and shop.
