Attachment name, how to use.

I bought a used rivet foot press, and this attachment came with the other dies. Can someone tell me the name so I may do a better search on how to use, or how this shape helps?

@Daviddm  Please use jpeg (jpg) file formats.  Not every has access to view jfif jpeg interchange format files and they don't display on this site.  Many people will not download unknown file types, so limits your audience and possible answers.
