Members itxsbrian Posted October 12, 2022 Members Report Posted October 12, 2022 Can anyone please help me identify this sewing machine, or recommend any machine which has the same capability to do the same clean stitching sheepskin patches onto denim Levi's jeans. video_2022-10-11_22-58-56.mp4 Quote

Do you have a link to the full length video? BTW I would open a new topic for this request cause this clearly is not a 441 type leather machine Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted October 12, 2022 Moderator Report Posted October 12, 2022 I split this post into its own topic. It is not proper etiquette to inject a totally unrelated post into an existing topic. This is a garment sewing machine. The topic the OP injected it into is about heavy duty 441 clones that stitch harnesses and holsters, not garments. This is, afterall, a leather sewing machine forum. We may have consider a sub forum to discuss garment and vinyl (non-leather) sewing machines. Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted October 12, 2022 Moderator Report Posted October 12, 2022 There are a lot of bottom feed sewing machines that will let you sew applicates onto garments. Top names in the industry include Juki and Consew, with Juki being more expensive. The video shows a straight stitch machine, with bottom feed only. A Juki DDL 8700 will do this job. Quote
