Hi everyone

How and can i bevel, debose and emboss on a ready made vegtan leather items? Ie wallets

You will need to either a. take the item apart or b.  get a piece of medium thickness aluminium or steel plate just big enough to slip inside the item and to where you want to stamp or decorate

I have put a piece of wood inside the item .  Also, as you mentioned wallets, and I assume the leather is thin (?)   be careful not to hit the tool too hard  as it may go straight through.  A  piece  of scrap leather inside will  help with that.

I wouldn't use wood as it might mush when you hit it, splinter and just make a mess. I get some 1/8 or 1/4 flat steel bar what ever width you need from home depot. inch or inch and a half works for mot projects zi have had to do that way. works also when you forget the snap LOL
