CFM Frodo Posted November 27, 2022 CFM Report Posted November 27, 2022 I need new belts so I measured the pulley was surprised to discover the pulley to be somewhat a v shape at the top is is 1/4” at the bottom of the v it is 3/16” so I am thinking of using a //4” v belt instead of a round belt has anyone done this with success? Members Wyowally Posted November 27, 2022 Members Report Posted November 27, 2022 No skinny v-belt experience, but using the rough surface urethane drive belt material that you heat weld has worked well for me. If I screw one up I'm out about 50 cents.. Quote
Members Mulesaw Posted November 28, 2022 Members Report Posted November 28, 2022 I use a thin V belt om my patcher. It works fine for me. Quote
