Part needed for a Singer 21w180

Recommended Posts

Hi I need what I think is called the saddle hook for a singer 21w180

I need the bobbin case, hook and fulcrum. Does anyone have an idea for a source for this machine?

I am in Dutchess County NY

The saddle is a cast piece.  Not going to be easy to find.  Do you know if Consew or anybody copied the machine? Parts list part number is #203504.

Need to see if any company copied it.

do you need just the hook or the hook + hook saddle? If just the hook I probably have an idea but you have to remove the hook from the saddle first so that I can see the bottom side.

Is it really bad?  I'm wondering if a good cleaning and rust removal could restore most of it.

I've used this. Does a fantastic job. The rust just dissolves away.

Cast iron is pretty tough.  I'd probably get it apart, clean and inspect to see if you really need parts.

Lower back part of saddle looks like a part is broke off.

I don’t know anything about this model, but I did see a questionable cross reference on the hook with a number of Consew and singer machines.

Do you have the broken pieces?

Fulcrum will do you no good  unless you can get the saddle fixed where it is broken.  That is what you screw the adjustment screw in for the fulcrum.
