Members Jocker Posted June 9, 2023 Members Report Posted June 9, 2023 I found this company online selling dies and a roll-through die-cutting system. It looks like it could be a good midpoint solution between hand cutting, contract clicking, and buying a more expensive clicking system. Does anyone have experience with this tool? 'Leather' is listed as one of the materials it's capable of cutting, but I'm curious as to how thick it can handle. -Jocker Quote
Members Burkhardt Posted June 12, 2023 Members Report Posted June 12, 2023 For future reference you're lack of response is you're not gonna get anyone to click on a link that you don't know where it's from. Quote
Northmount Posted June 12, 2023 Report Posted June 12, 2023 Looks like a pretty good option versus large presses. https://www.customshapepros.com/accucut-grandemark-2-machine If I had seen this about 10 years ago, I probably would have bought it instead of a large shop press that is at my son's place 60 miles away, not convenient at all! Steel rule dies are usually less expensive too, but may not last as long as heavier dies. Looks like there might be enough room to handle the standard dies too. These are just my impressions based on their web pages. Quote
Moderator bruce johnson Posted June 12, 2023 Moderator Report Posted June 12, 2023 It looks like the Rolling press is only for dies that height. If you get dies from other makers you may find those dies are 3/4 or a more universal 1-1/4". A benchtop shop press conversion will work no matter the die height and be in that same pricing or a bit less. I have used one for years. Quote
