Members JWheeler331 Posted July 14, 2023 Members Report Posted July 14, 2023 Very nice. Do you find the bullets hold well like this? Are they easy to remove one handed compared to traditional style of single bullet loop? Quote
Members Hags Posted July 15, 2023 Author Members Report Posted July 15, 2023 Yes J, they come out very nicely. You put your finger on the business end and lift up and they pop right up. Please understand that I used an under sized punch (5/16) top and bottom. Then wet the leather, then forced the rounds in. I let this dry, then oiled it, then replaced the rounds. The flaps are to ensure the rounds stay in place in the future. It has dried for several days now, and I still have to use a bit of force to get the rounds in. Dang sure a lot easier than loops. Wouldn't work on a cowboy rig though. Quote Not so retired RN. Living on the Washington Peninsula.
