Members yuma Posted September 28, 2023 Members Report Posted September 28, 2023 Just finished an ammo pouch for a blokes 458 Lott... Roger Quote
Members Mablung Posted September 29, 2023 Members Report Posted September 29, 2023 That's really slick and clean-looking. What are the dimensions? That gave me an idea for integrating an ammunition pouch into a rifle stock pouch I need to make but have put off researching while dealing with some other things. Quote
Members yuma Posted September 29, 2023 Author Members Report Posted September 29, 2023 A bit over 4" square and an inch deep not including belt loops... Roger Quote
Members MarshalWill Posted September 29, 2023 Members Report Posted September 29, 2023 I like this one a lot. Attractive, clean design. A molded front always looks good on small pouches like this. Nice, nice, nice! Quote

CFM chuck123wapati Posted October 4, 2023 CFM Report Posted October 4, 2023 that is nice work, I'm set to make myself one if a can get the time before I go. I plan on making mine hold ten rounds. Quote
Members YinTx Posted October 4, 2023 Members Report Posted October 4, 2023 I like that you used black stitching for the belt loops, and contrast stitching elsewhere. Quote
Members YveZmm Posted July 24, 2024 Members Report Posted July 24, 2024 (edited) I understand your ammo pouch dilemma. I've been there, done that! Speaking from my own adventures, it's crucial to strike that perfect balance between size and functionality. You don't want something too bulky that hinders your movement, but you also need enough room to carry your essentials. A high-quality ammo pouch can be a game-changer, especially when you're in the field and need quick access. Edited July 24, 2024 by Northmount removed spam link Quote
Members yuma Posted July 25, 2024 Author Members Report Posted July 25, 2024 This is a bit of an old post, so I may as well add to it while I'm here.....This is one of three small pouches for holding 22's that I made for a mates boys, they'll easily hold up to 100 rounds.... Roger Quote
Members Pdm25150 Posted August 7, 2024 Members Report Posted August 7, 2024 Very nice, clean look excellent job. Now as a hunter I give you even more props. That is perfect, can put shells in and drop in pocket. No rattle or clinking sounds or ammo spilled in pocket. Quote

Members yuma Posted August 12, 2024 Author Members Report Posted August 12, 2024 I assume you are asking about the forms for the top half of these pouches.....I make them from what we call " Form Ply "....the centre piece which forms the pouch varies depending on how deep I need the pouch to be, the base and the top stay the same. Members yuma Posted August 12, 2024 Author Members Report Posted August 12, 2024 Pdm25150...Those are made to go on your belt or in your pocket....the pics below are made for your pocket, they are in different lengths for different cases but are all 100mm/4" wide to fit in a shirt pocket.... Members JohnJohnson Posted January 17 Members Report Posted January 17 A custom ammo pouch for a .458 Lott sounds like a great project. I bet it feels satisfying to complete something so useful, especially for such a powerful caliber. The .458 Lott isn’t exactly your everyday round, so having a pouch that fits it perfectly must be a game-changer. Quote
Members Brokenolmarine Posted January 18 Members Report Posted January 18 I made a couple 22 ammo pouches to dump loose 22 ammo in for walk around plinking with the rifle or handguns. The first was a belt mounted pouch, and the second was to be clipped on a cross chest or shoulder strap. Both would hold about 100 rounds or so easily. It was a challenge, I had to learn the box stitch and the design was my own, so the first one had some glitches to work out. I enjoyed the process as much as the finished pouch. Quote
Members Dwight Posted January 18 Members Report Posted January 18 For my revolver holster customers . . . a dump pouh is the one extra I suggest So much easier and quicker than an ammo belt or loops. But all the pouches on here today are really good looking. May God bless, Dwight Quote
Members yuma Posted January 19 Author Members Report Posted January 19 This is one I just finished for a mates 470 NE double rifle, the flap folds behind so he can grab two cartridges at a time with thumb and two fingers.... Roger Quote
