Smoothing out a creaser line?

I went askew with the electric creaser when creasing a belt and was hoping the final length would be short of that blemish, but alas, it was within an inch of the tip.

Is there a way to smooth out that blemish or make it disappear? I'd really not want to cut the billet any shorter.

I would try wetting it then take something really smooth and go back and forth gently over the crease .

A picture would help maybe. A double crease line possible?

As you can see, if I were to trim the end would be pretty much next to the hole—it'd probably look worse than the blemish:

 

In non-raking light, it's not too obvious, but it's still there:

This may be of some use to you, maybe try it on piece of scrap first. I have not tried this myself but it looks like it may help.

Its not too bad. I would bone slicker some pressure over the whole area and heavily redo the crease line as that should be able to pull the leather tighter into the groove area.
