Here is my 1st leather carving, just some letters for a key chain. I made this for my sister to get some practice with the swivel knife & to try my hand at carving. 

How bad is is it? It's got a few flaws. But I dont think it looks to bad.

Thanks guys, I wish I would of saddle stitched it, instead of being lazy & using my speedy stitcher.

I see what you mean. I only use my speedy-stitcher in emergencies.

Its not too late; you can unpick the sewing and re-do it

if you use a speedy stich remember to set the knot inside the leather like a sewing machine does. it will look a bit better.

Yeah I fight that with a speedy stitcher. I always seem to end up with the knots on the back side. I pull tight! almost to the point of cutting your fingers with the thread. 

I'll saddle stitch these from here on out.
