I've been tasked with carving this logo. This is my first attempt.  Any tips are appreciated. Thanks,

personally I would have used pyrography for that type of image, i suppose you can use black acrylic paint or similar to color it in. your carving looks great!!!

Thanks. It's supposed to go on the back of a saddle and carving is the only option I have.

you may think about trying inverted carving also. that where the picture is beveled into the leather.

It could easily be done on a laser engraver . . .

That's true, but I don't have easy access to a laser engraver. I'll do my best carving it and see if it works out.
