Contributing Member Regis Posted November 27, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted November 27, 2007 Here are some recent projects. Wallets for the young men in our family: 1st try at holster. It really is black and I don't understand the greenish hue in the photo. If you can see any errors, you are sitting tooo close to your screen. Back up 15 feet! Quote

Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted November 28, 2007 Ambassador Report Posted November 28, 2007 Good looking work Regis, I LOVE that Maple Leaf on the wallets.... The greenish hew is from the cutting board you have underneath the holster when you took the picture. Ken Quote

Members Srigs Posted November 30, 2007 Members Report Posted November 30, 2007 Nice job on the wallets and good job on the holster. One question on the holster... Is there a reason for the shape of the belt slots? It is a pattern I have not found before. When I do belt slots, I use a half moon (1/4") wood working chisel and then use my knife to cut between the two half moon cuts. Keep it up! Quote

I should have punched 2 holes and cut between. But, I had this 1" belt punch (only long punch I had) so I tried it. It is wider in middle. I punched 3 times to get the size I wanted. It ended up looking interesting but, I don't think I will do that again. Quote
