Just thought I would introduce myself as I am now replying to some of the beautiful work I have been watching everyone post. I am not totally computer savey so I have waited to post anything. My name is Skip I live in Utah and have been running a custom saddle and tack shop out of my home for the past eleven years. I enjoy most aspects of leather work and am always trying to figure things out that I don't know so as to improve my skills. I work full time as an X-ray tech so my business is my salvation from the rest of the working world. I will try and post some of my work if all goes well some pictures will be at the bottom. if not I will try again when I build up the courage to do so.

Welcome Skip. You'll find a number of saddle makers here. This is a friendly place to hang out. Looking forward to those pictures.

Hey Skip, welcome to the forum. When you figured out how to do it, post pics, you sure posted some pretty work. I really like the bags on the saddle horn, but heck I like all the pictures. Great work and thanks for sharing them with us. Billy P

Welcome to the forum skip, that's a very good looking canteen there. The carving is very clean.
