I use soft american fur for some of my dogs collars but i look for this "traditional" "hard" fur as well...i do not know a lot but maybe it is harder when the animal is older? Springfield specifies that they have many fur types not listed in their catalogue. I don't know if they have european badger fur or not, but they do have badger (of some sort, anyway).
