sjharumph Report post Posted December 10 (edited) Picked this machine up for a good price. Shows very light use, great shape, sews smoothly. Can't find any info on what clone or rebrand it may be. Have sent a request to a current Chandler Co. but haven't heard back. No idea if the old job files exist. To me it looks like a Juki LG-158-2. Either cloned or rebranded. The build quality is superb. No tag indicating country of manufacture. Ultimately I just want to know which parts to look for. Any insight or thoughts are appreciated. 30", walking foot, double needle. chisel Report post Posted December 10 It's a Juki rebranded as Chandler. I have a Chandler just like yours and if you tilt the head back and look at the bottom under the bed, it has a Juki part number in the cast iron starting with B-.
sjharumph Report post Posted December 11 As I suspected. Thanks. Haven't tilted the head back yet. The puller add on makes it hinge oddly. I'll get to it eventually. For now, it's oiled, greased and sewing perfectly. Have a great day and thanks again.
