rawhider Report post Posted December 19, 2007 :biggrin: a curb strap goes on the back of a bit, for a horse. it is used to either put leverage on the jaw to get the horse to slow down or stop, or on sertain types of bits, it's just to keep the bit from going al the way through the mouth. it's a cowboy thing...
