Members Leathershark Posted January 12 Members Report Posted January 12 (edited) Made a couple Sheaths today that fit a Buck 110 folder knife. These are lined inside with soft goatskin, no metal contact with your knife. Coversd outside with real tanned Diamond back rattlesnake skin. Used 2 to 3 ounce veg tan leather. stiched with 277 thread. Takes me about 1 hour to make one. Any thoughts for improvement? Edited Friday at 07:52 PM by Northmount fixed typo in title Quote

Found a guy on Ebay, skin and scales. Does great work. I buy direct from him now many at a time. Quote

Members Beehive Posted Friday at 03:04 PM Members Report Posted Friday at 03:04 PM Respect but the stitching looks awful. You used a hole punch and the thread isn't laying like it should. It doesn't look tight or seated. The stitch distance between holes is too wide. Everything else is awesome. Quote

Then don't ask for areas of improvement. Maybe you should ditch that expensive machine and put some soul in your work. Because.... It-Looks-Horrible. Quote
