 .. probably the most complex project I have done.  The concept was taken from a case featured in one of Al Stohlman’s books.  (My sweetie did the needlework)

Lovely!

That's some pretty complicated stitching - tight corners. Curious to know jow much of it is machine stitching vs. hand?

Thanks everyone.  I appreciate your kind comments :).  
 

Sheilajeanne, it is all hand stitched.  I used left and right pricking irons.  The edges of the sides are mitred to approximately 22.5 degrees.  I used a French edger for the mitered edge.
