Hello,

I’m having issues with my industrial machine motor, when I press the pedal down when the machine is on, it won’t sew. The belt is in place, the pedal seems to be mechanically intact, the red light to signify that the machine is on, is on.

the issue started after my chair wheel accidentally hit the pedal causing it to sew uncontrollably only stopping after I turned the machine off manually. After turning it back on it the machine won’t sew when I press the pedal. Turning it manually still works so I think it’s the motor that’s the problem

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

It might help to let us know the brand of motor you have, because some have a fuse in them that can blow when overloaded. Some are internal & others are on theswitch.

Do the # light up like they used to?Is there any error codes showing? There should be a panel you take off some screws to look inside for a fuse.

It lights up like usual yeah, no error code, are you referring to this panel? What would exactly checking for?

Please post your photo files as jpeg or png files.  heic files files are a proprietary format and not all devices and operating systems are able to display them.  Many users will not download links to unknown files or sites so you are limiting the audience your are attempting to reach.  Please see this link for more information and assistance.  https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/98380-heic-picture-files-convert-to-jpeg-before-posting/

Obviously no fuse on that side, what's on the back?

One question that hasn't been asked.  With the belt off, does the motor run when you press the pedal down?

Have re-aligned the linkage from the pedal to the motor?

If you disconnect the pedal linkage from the lever on the motor, does the motor run when you stroke the lever all the way?

Yes,take all those screws out, take the cover off & there might be a fuse on the circuit board.
