Members oladipoq Posted 22 hours ago Members Report Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Hello, I’m having issues with my industrial machine motor, when I press the pedal down when the machine is on, it won’t sew. The belt is in place, the pedal seems to be mechanically intact, the red light to signify that the machine is on, is on. the issue started after my chair wheel accidentally hit the pedal causing it to sew uncontrollably only stopping after I turned the machine off manually. After turning it back on it the machine won’t sew when I press the pedal. Turning it manually still works so I think it’s the motor that’s the problem Does anyone know how to fix this issue?Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏 Edited 22 hours ago by oladipoq Quote
CowboyBob Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago It might help to let us know the brand of motor you have, because some have a fuse in them that can blow when overloaded. Some are internal & others are on theswitch. Quote

CowboyBob Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Do the # light up like they used to?Is there any error codes showing? There should be a panel you take off some screws to look inside for a fuse. Quote

Northmount Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Obviously no fuse on that side, what's on the back? One question that hasn't been asked. With the belt off, does the motor run when you press the pedal down? Have re-aligned the linkage from the pedal to the motor? If you disconnect the pedal linkage from the lever on the motor, does the motor run when you stroke the lever all the way? Quote
