Members oladipoq Posted Tuesday at 09:57 AM Members Report Posted Tuesday at 09:57 AM (edited) Hello, I’m having issues with my industrial machine motor, when I press the pedal down when the machine is on, it won’t sew. The belt is in place, the pedal seems to be mechanically intact, the red light to signify that the machine is on, is on. the issue started after my chair wheel accidentally hit the pedal causing it to sew uncontrollably only stopping after I turned the machine off manually. After turning it back on it the machine won’t sew when I press the pedal. Turning it manually still works so I think it’s the motor that’s the problem Does anyone know how to fix this issue?Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏 Edited Tuesday at 10:01 AM by oladipoq Quote
CowboyBob Posted Tuesday at 11:31 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 11:31 AM It might help to let us know the brand of motor you have, because some have a fuse in them that can blow when overloaded. Some are internal & others are on theswitch. Quote

CowboyBob Posted Tuesday at 04:24 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 04:24 PM Do the # light up like they used to?Is there any error codes showing? There should be a panel you take off some screws to look inside for a fuse. Quote

What would exactly checking for? Please post your photo files as jpeg or png files. heic files files are a proprietary format and not all devices and operating systems are able to display them. Northmount Posted Tuesday at 10:21 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 10:21 PM Obviously no fuse on that side, what's on the back? One question that hasn't been asked. With the belt off, does the motor run when you press the pedal down? Have re-aligned the linkage from the pedal to the motor? If you disconnect the pedal linkage from the lever on the motor, does the motor run when you stroke the lever all the way? Quote
