Members SR71 Posted May 3 Members Report Posted May 3 Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any tips to mitigate an issue I'm having. When I insert cards with raised numbers into the pockets of my wallets, they leave a mark on the outside leather almost instantly. The leather I use is Badalassi unfinished veg tan shoulder skived down to about 1.6mm thick. I will include an image. Any help would be great, Thanks! Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted May 3 Contributing Member Report Posted May 3 I would suggest that leather temper is too soft. Try hardening some up and see if that solves the problem Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
CFM chuck123wapati Posted May 4 CFM Report Posted May 4 A liner of some sort Use thicker leather for the front piece. Put your driver's license in the front, and your credit cards in the back. Turn the card over looser pants lol!!! Quote Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms. “I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!
Members LeatherLegion Posted May 4 Members Report Posted May 4 Put the cards in with the numbers facing backwards Quote
