Members candyleather Posted May 20, 2007 Members Report Posted May 20, 2007 Leather bags with celtic embossing adornment and the poster of our last course. The letters of the poster are a medieval font typical from our culture. I hope you like it. Quote

Just out of curiosity, how did you manage to tool something on white leather? Vegetable tanned white leather? I didn't know there was such a thing. Dave Theobald Quote
Members candyleather Posted May 23, 2007 Author Members Report Posted May 23, 2007 David, is a very light vegetable tanned leather and the photo have a little more brightness than in reality it is. The colour could be a light beige. Quote

Vegetable tanned white leather? I didn't know there was such a thing.Dave Theobald IMO, it actually kind of looks like it was drawn on with, maybe, a marker. . .? I don't know. Very neat-looking work, Candyleather! EDIT: OK, so it isn't white leather, but it still looks drawn on to me. . . L'Bum Edited May 23, 2007 by Leather Bum Quote
Members candyleather Posted May 23, 2007 Author Members Report Posted May 23, 2007 Thanks folks! I'm proud and touched with your posts. Leather Bum, I trace the pic on a tansfer (paper with the picture) with a pencil over the leather dap and after I used the bevelers tools, and you are right, sometimes I use a marker (felt-tip pen) instead of acrilic paint. The colour is not drawn but the photograph a little because tha leather is not polished. Quote
