Members memhave Posted 10 hours ago Members Report Posted 10 hours ago Hello! I thought Id be clever to use double sided tape on the flesh side for a template and then apply neatfoot oil. Unfortunately, the residue shows up through the neatsfoot oil even on some of the "clean" removals. I had a very long bendy piece of leather where there is a lot of the residue and I have no idea how to get it off. (Yes in hindsight, I shouldve stuck it on the back and poked through for holes but alas) Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted 5 hours ago Contributing Member Report Posted 5 hours ago Try WD40; sprayed on a bit of rag and scrubbed into the leather just on the areas that need it Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
FrankHester Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I would have to try a glue eraser to see if it would work. Such as this: Heavy Duty Adhesive Eraser — Tandy Leather, Inc. Quote
