Members DieselTech Posted Thursday at 05:25 AM Members Report Posted Thursday at 05:25 AM I am going say, user error. You probably moved the piece when sewing or it slipped a bit while sewing. I am no means a professional & I've only used my class 26 maybe 6hours total. Maybe some more experienced pros will chime in. Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted Thursday at 05:53 PM Moderator Report Posted Thursday at 05:53 PM Sometimes, it's the way the thread comes off the spool. SOme thread is twisty. Some is bonded too much or too little, some windings may have crossed over or under other windings, some windings fall down and get caught under the spool. I've had knots suddenly appear on top after laying perfectly in the center. Sometimes, I discover that the top thread has twisted itself around the thread stand and is jammed tight. Even the bobbin thread can jump out of its position under the tension spring. Or, it could get caught under the bobbin.
