The only chisels I've seen wouldn't go all the way through. Those being from Tandy, and I'm tring to stay away from Tandy as I feel there are better tools out there somewere. I have made some extra length ones in the past for people. Let me know. I'm useing saddle skirting which is part of the reason it's so thick. It's for my Colt 1860's. I know that it's a little over kill, but it's what I want. With the the fillers the holsters will probly be an inch to an inch and a quarter thick. I didn't think about making my own chisels.
