Weaver Leather. Wholesale Only??

Recommended Posts

Is it not possible to buy from weaver leather without a tax #? Would really like to have a source for Hermann Oak Leather as well as some of the weaver line but I went to the website to request a catalog and it says wholesale only

I'm looking at the Hermann Oak ad and it lists;

Bowden Leather

915-877-1557

Goliger Leather

800-423-2329

Montana Leather

406-245-1660

Oregon Leather

503-228-4105

Panhandle Leather

806-373-0535

Sheridan Leather Outfitters

888-803-3030

Southern Leather

800-844-6767

Stevenson-Paxton Sales

800-648-1622

Goliger's is the only one I've dealt with other than Weaver and they don't require anything. I've been to Sheridan Leather Outfitters and they have a retail store so I doubt if they require anything either.

Good luck

Kevin

Rickey,

I use Goliger Leather also. They do a really good job for me. They're fast, knowledgable and do a great job of sorting. I've received a lot of grade "B" HO sides that were considerably better than the grade "A"s I've received from other sources. No resale # required. When you don't buy any kind of quantity, then it's worth a little extra to get exactly what you want. I buy from Weaver also...they are definitely handy to buy from, but you do have to have a resale #.

A little off track, do any of leather retailers resell Weaver products? I just received a new Springfield Leather catalog and noticed they sell Ohio Travel Bag products.

If you are a sole proprieter and don't have a federal tax ID, your state seller's permit # qualifies to buy from Weaver.
