Hi Hammerhead,

I was just thinking last week that we hadn't heard from you in a while. Your latest strap looks really good. As always, I'm impressed with how you get the small details to work. I tried one of your patterns, and I couldn't get the face to turn out nearly as well as you do. I too will be looking forward to seeing this one finished.

Along with all the other praise,really nice work on the lips. I've been having a very tough time doing lips on an Indian face, profiled from the side. Juts can't get it. Yours like great. Any special tips you can share?? (Yeah, I know: practice, practice, practice).

practice, practice, practice). yep thats about it, and cus alot on some scrap pieces till you see what you like, my blood pressure goes thru the roof sweatin out the details

My pride and joy. Made by Kevin Schwab for me in 1971. serial #1 Had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Haggard(tiny moore!) Asleep at the Wheel Johnny Paycheck and many others. It's a 5 string elec mandolin for those who aren't familiar.
