outcast Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Nice seat. I think I've seen your bike over on the CTFS bastard site.
ChaChi Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Nice seat. I think I've seen your bike over on the CTFS bastard site. Yeah, I've been over there since the beginning I think. That bike has had several transformations in the last few years but it'll stay this way for a while I think. It's my favorite bike, by far!
TomSwede Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Looks to be a darn nice seat. The letters came out very nice on the natural background. The font looks very neat when painted the way you've done. I usually go down with the dye all the way so it meets the background but some just looks better done like this. Love that font! Nice n cruel bike! krains Report post Posted March 5, 2008 thats some beautiful leather. W&C, TLF or ?
ChaChi Report post Posted March 5, 2008 It's Tandy. I've haven't bought any W&C leather yet. This piece was a 7-8oz double shoulder and HUGE (like 24-25 sq ft) and the entire piece was perfect except for a brand. I cut out any brands as soon as I get the hides anyway. I'm collecting them for a coaster project. But so far I've been really lucky with TLF leather.

We have a local store and I am able to look through their selection of hides. I use 9051-01 which is a trimmed double shoulder. Thanks and nice seat.... Spider Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Nice seat and very nice bike. Is this your daily rider or at least when you do ride?
ChaChi Report post Posted March 5, 2008 Nice seat and very nice bike. Is this your daily rider or at least when you do ride? Yeah, it's my daily ride. I've also got a standard glide that seldom sees a mile put on it and I'm starting on a CB750 chop next.
Spider Report post Posted March 6, 2008 Yeah, it's my daily ride. I've also got a standard glide that seldom sees a mile put on it and I'm starting on a CB750 chop next. I love it. Custom bikes rock. I have put my hands on mine and people usually stand by her and take pics like she's a monument. Kinda funny but good non the less. No one believes me when I say it's an 06 Honda Shadow Aero. lol You have an awesome bike my friend.
ChaChi Report post Posted March 6, 2008 Now that's my kinda ride! I dig it. It's so cool to steal the glory of the 30k choppers with my little sporty chop that actually gets ridden and not just shown. I'm dure you get that same feeling with your ride. Thanks for the compliment.
