For anyone who does a lot of knot work patterns I just recently found this and bought it. it's $20 but I figured it would save me some time in the long run. quite easy to use and good directions. I am not affiliated in any way just thought i'd pass it on http://www.clanbadge.com/

I've been using it for at least a couple of years now. It's so simple, but amazing what you can do with it!

Don't buy it again. Just burn the floppy to a cd. And if you don't have a burner have a friend who has one do it for you. I posted this site here a couple of months ago. I've had his program for about eight years now. Have all the fonts. It really is a fun program to use. Good luck with the transfer.

Just bought the fonts and as they say in pool - it's the nuts!

What a great great design tool. It's almost like cheating and really gives me some RESPECT to those who did and do these designs and patterns without help.

I'm with John, it does almost feel like cheating! I have several design books that try to teach me how to draw my own...but I'm all about time savers like this font package!

Not quiiiiiiiite sure what you mean by "have all the fonts" ? I'm just starting to use it lately and have only played with the basic keyboard strokes on it - have you printed out all of the other commands that it's able to use? Did you put them in a binder or something?

Any help's appreciated :)

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I am talking about his 4 styles of Celtic Knots. He does refer to them as Celtic Knot Fonts. When I first started I did print out the keyboard strokes and kept it by my computer to refer to, but now I can just type out my designs without looking. But I have had eight years of using the program. When I like a design I do print it out and keep it in a binder devoted to Celtic Knotwork. I did use some of the designs that comes with the program when I first started. I think this helped me to learn faster because I would play with trying to change his original designs and this helped me understand what would work and not work, what a capital "A" did as opposed to a small "a", or an Outline font as opposed to an Inverse font for an example. Anyway just play with it and have fun. I do love this program and would tell you to get all 4 fonts if you can because each one will give you a wide range of effects to add to your artistic efforts.

Hope this helps and clears up the misunderstanding :)

Thanks Scott!

I know this is an old post, but for a lurker like me... this is where it's at; gleaning and learning.

And now, my world has just expanded to another level... so many different expressions, so few hours in a day!

Celtic bands... head is exploding again!
