Members rharris Posted April 12, 2009 Members Report Posted April 12, 2009 Just finished this headstall for a customer's new reining horse. Hardware is from Dale Bass in Amarillo. Any suggestions for improvement is always welcome. RussH Quote

Moderator bruce johnson Posted April 12, 2009 Moderator Report Posted April 12, 2009 Russ, Looks very good. I like the browband with the initials especially. I really like Dale Bass' silver too. He does some quality work. Quote
hidepounder Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Hi Russ, Headstall looks really good! I would make one suggestion...I would like to see a better finish on your edges. Edges seem to something that we all hate working on, but IMHO, a finely finished edge is a more professional job and raises the value of the final product. Just an observation..... Bob Quote
Members rharris Posted April 13, 2009 Author Members Report Posted April 13, 2009 Thanks everyone for your comments. Hidepounder, I know that the finish on the edges were not that good. When I get rushed I tend to slack off on some of the little things and I know that those little things are what make a good project better. Will do better next time. Thanks RussH Quote
Members Janice Posted April 14, 2009 Members Report Posted April 14, 2009 I would be really proud to have my horse wearing that. Nice work. Quote
