Just finished this headstall for a customer's new reining horse. Hardware is from Dale Bass in Amarillo. Any suggestions for improvement is always welcome.

Looks very good. I like the browband with the initials especially. I really like Dale Bass' silver too. He does some quality work.

Hi Russ,

Headstall looks really good! I would make one suggestion...I would like to see a better finish on your edges. Edges seem to something that we all hate working on, but IMHO, a finely finished edge is a more professional job and raises the value of the final product.

Just an observation.....

Thanks everyone for your comments.

Hidepounder, I know that the finish on the edges were not that good. When I get rushed I tend to slack off on some of the little things and I know that those little things are what make a good project better. Will do better next time.

Looks great. What size buckles did you use?

They are 3/4"
