Timd Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 My mother is the president of the ladies auxiliary of the local fire company, and she asked me to make a purse for thier annual basket raffle. This is what I came up with. I've really been admiring all the awesome saddle work here, so I tried to imitate some of it with this pattern. Thanks for looking. Quote
Members Tina Posted April 19, 2009 Members Report Posted April 19, 2009 Cool:-) I like the miander work you did on it, I bet someone is going to be real happy:-) Quote "He who works with his hands is a laborer. Timd Posted April 19, 2009 Author Report Posted April 19, 2009 Thank you, Tina. I hope it will be appreciated. Quote
Members Talfuchre Posted April 20, 2009 Members Report Posted April 20, 2009 You know what I liked the most - how you rounded the corner with your miander pattern. I could see you making the stamp - and having to hand blend it to make it look right. You can't tell it wasn't machine done that way. Good work - so cool to see people donating stuff and helping others out. TF Quote
Timd Posted April 20, 2009 Author Report Posted April 20, 2009 Thanks, TF. It's actually easier for me to do rounded corners than square ones. I only had to measure the spacing once, when I got within 5-6 stamps from the end. I likle to help when I can. Again, thanks for looking. Quote
Members kevinhopkins Posted April 21, 2009 Members Report Posted April 21, 2009 Great use of the meander tool, and I really like the nice simple lines! Kevin Quote
