David Report post Posted March 10, 2008 I tried a new stain on this. It is a Fiebings All-In-One called Mahogany. Not too sure about this one....it is rather thick. Too thick to shoot through an airbrush. Tends to be a bit streaky in my opinion. Dave Theobald http://www.theobaldleather.com

Drac Report post Posted March 10, 2008 heh, that's the same stain I used on the bag I did. you're right about it being thick! how'd you apply yours? lots of rubbing (in a circular motion *L*) and a few coats on mine to mostly even out the color. I use those words interchangably and I guess I shouldn't. Although for the life of me I don't know the differene. The notebook will go to Sucker Punch and will be used as an "idea" book for customers.Dave Theobaldhttp://www.theobaldleather.comheh, that's the same stain I used on the bag I did. you're right about it being thick! how'd you apply yours? lots of rubbing (in a circular motion *L*) and a few coats on mine to mostly even out the color.Lots of rubbing ....Davehttp://www.theobaldleather.com
