carr52 Report post Posted May 22, 2009 Don't have anything to post as I have been in slow mode lately. Still dealing with the spine problems. I guess jumping out of planes wasn't such a good idea after all. The pain pills work great but make me lazy. The ones the VA gave me don't do a thing and the ones my civilian doc gave me turn me into a mushroom. Got to get the Doc's to give me something a little lighter. And to all you Veterans out there I'd like to say thank you. Tom

CitizenKate Report post Posted May 23, 2009 Sorry to hear about your back problems.... wow, you've been parachuting? Sounds like the docs are trying to get you to rest your back. Sometimes, that's just the only way to heal. So just take it easy and get well. You can still type, though, right? No need to be a stranger just because you don't have something to post every week. TwinOaks Report post Posted May 23, 2009 I've never been able to rationalize jumping out of plane that wasn't crashing...... Sorry to hear you're having back problems, and I hope you can get them resolved. +1 to what Kate said. You don't have to have a new project on display just to come hang out with us. Spend some time reading and answering questions for new members, studying techniques, etc. Just don't let Johanna catch you lally-gagging....she'll put you to work. carr52 Report post Posted May 23, 2009 I was in the Army when I did the jump thing. I was with the 82nd Airborne Division. Long time ago. About 38 years. Just had one too many bad landings. You win some, you lose some. But I had a ball doing it. Tom
