Tkleather1 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Here is another pair of square bottom chinks I just finished up tonight. The bodies are Bucktan from the HideHouse Stitched in black fringe and 7/8 oz h.o. tooled yokes and stamped side panels. the yokes and side panels are finished with EVOO and Saddle lac. I am not real happy with the tooling on these for some reason I cant get this side to case right it is hard to carve and I dont get the burnish I am looking for. I am not sure what I am doing wrong yet but I guess I will figure it out or run out of this hide. the ones in the past never gave me this trouble. anyway I think that overall these chinks turned out good, Tell me what you all think. all input is taken with great respect.
