Storm Report post Posted November 5, 2009 (edited) Was just looking for ideas and Leather Ink gave me some food for thought. So I stylized an old school Swallow Tattoo and carved it. It is his way of thinking outside the box and,,,,sometimes it's nice to go outside the box. LOL!! Edited November 5, 2009 by Storm

I think I'm going to try to carve a pin up next, maybe you'll join me for that one.

Now carving a pin is not such a problem but it will take a bit longer for the other. LOL! When I say outisde the box it is more to the idea of saying something I do not normally do. I have thousands of patterns in my collection. Some are Western Floral or based on Remington paintings or Japanese tattoo flash. For me doing something different makes me have to think and that helps my brain stay young. Now if I could just get the rest of my body to follow along I would be good!! HA! The beauty of classic and or vintage tattoo flash is its' simplicity. Of course it totally screams 30s, 40s and 50s. The next ones are a bit more detaild but truely vintage. Thanx, Storm

Sorry about the crude coverings, but I don't know how the site takes to nudity.

Did you ink the bikini top and bottowm on later? LOL! Might ask admin about the nudity. I was thinking "pin up" like a 1950's style pin up girl. No problem I think I can handle that. outcast Report post Posted November 5, 2009 Here's an irish pin up girl I just finished tooling this afternoon. It's going to cover an Irish girls motorcycle seat.

I am about to finish a sort of hippie girl pinup. But I have to take my son to Target to buy a game.
