I've always used Fiebing's Pro Oil Dyes but am considering switching to Angelus dyes. I haven't been able to decide which brown to use though. I would like to find a nice light to medium brown without any red tint. I would appreciate and suggestions and/or pics.

angelus Brown will be what you are looking for...."no red tint to it".i have used it

and other Angelus products .

I bought a bottle of Angelus tan once and it turned out bright orange!

I use the Angelus Jet Black. and I like it. I think the color lasts a little longer than Fiebings. I do like the penetration depth of Fiebings oil dye for edges, but I like the angelus dyes better for overall use.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to call Angelus to figure out what the difference is in their blacks. Someone dyed some sheaths and used Feibings pro oil black on one. And I really like this black. He said he used leather sheen for the sealer:
