Hawgman Report post Posted December 11, 2009 I have not seen a topic posted on shops yet. How about if we start one on what your shop looks like. Personally I am remodeling and getting ready to move into a bigger shop and would love to see some of your shops for ideas. If you are willing to share photos of your work place lets see where this will go. I will post photos of my shop when I am moved in. Thanks.
Dually Report post Posted December 11, 2009 Hawgman, I haven't seen it for a while, but there was a thread on here at one time with a lot of peoples shops. I remember posting mine on there. There were some great shops. I'd be willing to do so again if we start a new one.

JohnD Report post Posted December 12, 2009 It did take some searching but I found this: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=826 . It should help with some ideas. I've been planning on building a workshop myself, but my boys want a weightroom, so I'm planning to try to fit both in a 10'x29' space.

Ok Dually hounded me Yesterday and now today on here so I will post some pictures of my humble little shop. Now keep in mind that this shop is only 10x20 so I dont have a whole lot of room to work with. This first picture is what you see as soon as you walk in the door. This is looking to the left. straight ahead is my tooling rock, to the left is where I do all of my oil and finishes, and to the right is just kind of an extra little cutting area and I tend to do all of my rivet and spot setting over there. This is the other end of the shop, to the left there in the back is my little closet and leather storage, it is a mess right now all the way around but hey it is working for the time being. my cutting table is on the right. and of course my little singer there on the left. This last picture is just my cutting table and some of my chap patterns and such on the wall. nothin fancy but they work. Well there you have it. It is a tiny little space but it works if you have any questions about anything let me know and I would be more than happy to answer.
